Experimental investigation of dynamic behavior of rotor system with a novel double layers flexible support tilting pad bearing

چکیده

Among all kinds of journal bearings, the tilting pad bearing has characteristics high stability. In order to further reduce vibration and improve stability rotor-bearing systems, a novel double layers flexible support (DL-FSTPB) is presented in this paper. The utilizes two springs, which have different functions. offset springs control swing angle ensure formation convergent oil film, symmetrical are used change stiffness coefficient, increase elasticity, ability accommodate misalignment. Experiments were carried out study rotor system. results analyzed using wavelet analysis acceleration displacement, waterfall plots, analysis, run-up process shaft center orbits areas. show that DL-FSTPB exhibits excellent attenuation characteristics, can effectively amplitude system level.
